Abstract in English
We considered the analysis of data from an incomplete repeated measures experiment with time dependent covariates. The study involved the evaluation of the response to an electric stimulus applied in mussel nerves before and after treatment with sea water mith different salinities. The study involved the modeling of the effect of the salinity on the response evaluated after the treatments, considering the response evaluated before the treatments as covariates. The objective was to compare the results obtained under regression models for uncorrelated data with those in which different within sample units covariance structures were considered. We discussed not only the choice of the form of the relation between the response and the different salinities, but also the choice of the covariance structure. We show that although both classes of models yield similar results, the latter produces more precise estimators
