Neste trabalho apresentamos um estudo das principais tecnicas para a verificacao de bioequivalencia entre duas formulacoes diferentes de certa droga. E enfatizado o uso do planejamento crossover com 2 periodos e 2 tratamentos porque e o mais utilizado neste tipo de ensaio clinico. Apresentamos enfoques classicos e bayesianos que podem ser utilizados na verificacao da existencia de bioequivalencia entre as formulacoes. Agencias governamentais como a fda (food and drug ad ministration) nos estados unidos, formulam em geral a politica para a verificacao de bioequivalencia a entre as formulacoes. Esta politica e traduzida em hipoteses estatisticas, as quais sao verificadas atraves de tecnicas existentes
