Neste trabalho encontramos, com base em Peers e Iqbal, a matriz de covariâncias até ordem 'n IND -2' do estimador de máxima verossimilhança do parâmetro 'Beta' em modelos não lineares da família exponencial. Mostramos que a matriz resultante é assimétrica e propusemos uma correção na expressão de Peers e Iqbal que a torna simétrica. Para esses modelos obtivemos, também, a matriz de covariância até ordem 'n IND -2' do estimador de máxima verossimilhança de 'Beta' corrigido pelo viés de ordem 'n IND -1'. Com base na matrizobtida, fizemos as modificações no teste e Wald. Em todos os resultados encontrados por meio de estudos de simulação de Monte Carlo
