O tratamento de incerteza de informação é um tema muito estudado em INteligência Artificial e conseqüentemente encontramos grande número de trabalhos na literatura. Curiosamente, o tratamento de informações cuja incerteza varia com o tempo, não é facilmente encontrado na literatura. A queda gradual na confiabilidade da informação com o tempo é denominada Obsolescência de Informação, sendo encontrada frequentemente em muitos problemas, como por exemplo, em finanças, econmia, sociologia e demografia. Nossa motivação para a pesquisa surgiu a partir do projeto SIDAM1 - Sistemas de Informação Distribuídos para Agentes Móveis, que fornece informações sobre o tráfego de automóveis em grandes cidades. Neste trabalho são discutidos o fenômeno da Obsolescência de Informação e propomos um modelo para tratar com informações que perdem a confiabilidade com o tempo, apresentando uma proposta de implementação para este modelo
