O tratamento da surdez profunda bilateral em crianças pequenas através de implante na cóclea tem oferecido muitos benefícios não só em termos da restauração da função auditiva, mas extensiva à inclusão da criança com deficiência auditiva no contexto social, afetivo e escolar. A inserção da criança, acompanhada de sua família, no programa de implante coclear é feita mediante o cumprimento de diversas etapas, cuja trajetória pode ocasionar ansiedades e expectativas. O presente estudo tem como escopo aprofundar as contribuições teóricas do psicanalista Donald Woods Winnicott, aplicadas à dez crianças que atravessam o tratamento de implante coclear, bem como objetiva analisar as entrevista efetuadas com os pais ou responsáveis pelas crianças e os resultados obtidos através da aplicação do Jogo Estruturado com Bonecos de Lynn, onde são apresentadas dez pequenas cenas com brinquedos, referentes à pequenas histórias incompletas, para que as crianças as completem. A interpretação é baseada nas contribuições winnicottianas referentes ao ambiente facilitador, à teoria do desenvolvimento humano que pressupõe a evolução da dependência à independência, a constituição do Eu, falso self e verdadeiro self, do trauma e suas defesas

The treatment of bilateral profound deafness in young children through implantation in the cochlea has offered many benefits not only in terms of restoring hearing function, but also extending to the inclusion of children with hearing loss in the social, emotional and school context. The insertion of the child, accompanied by his family, in the cochlear implantation program is carried out through the fulfillment of several stages, whose trajectory can cause anxieties and expectations. The present study aims to deepen the theoretical contributions of the psychoanalyst Donald Woods Winnicott, applied to ten children undergoing cochlear implant treatment, as well to analyze the interviews with the parents (or responsible) of the children and the results obtained through the application of the Structured Game with Lynn Dolls, where ten small scenes with toys are presented, referring to small incomplete stories, for children to complete them. The interpretation is based on the Winnicottian contributions referring to the facilitating environment, to the theory of human development that presupposes the evolution from dependence to independence, the constitution of the I, false self and true self, from trauma and its defenses
