Essa pesquisa surge como sequência do trabalho de Iniciação Científica intitulado "Literatura psicanalítica sobre gêmeos: especificidades da clínica". O trabalho é parte do 'Braço Clínico' do estudo com gêmeos -- coordenado pela professora Maria Lívia Tourinho Moretto -- que integra a rede de pesquisa Painel USP de Gêmeos, -- coordenado pela professora Emma Otta -- no Instituto de Psicologia da Universidade de São Paulo. O grupo de pesquisadores do 'Braço Clínico' realiza, desde 2017, atendimentos a pacientes gêmeos na Clínica Escola do Instituto de Psicologia, e desde 2020, atua em parceria com pesquisadores do Instituto Sedes Sapientiae, no grupo Gemelar. O objetivo da pesquisa é investigar as demandas, questões e narrativas de sofrimento trazidas pelos pacientes gêmeos e seus familiares, tanto nos atendimentos realizados quanto na literatura sobre o assunto, de modo a obter subsídios para uma reflexão clínica e crítica a respeito dos ensinamentos e desafios pertinentes a gemelaridade no campo psicanalítico. Utilizamos o método clínico psicanalítico, valorizando a articulação entre clínica e teoria nessa investigação. Como resultado, construímos um panorama com os principais textos encontrados na literatura, categorizados a partir do enfoque dos clínicos, dos pais de gêmeos e de gêmeos que publicaram sobre suas experiências. Neste panorama, os autores utilizam e privilegiam conceitos diversos para tratar das especificidades da condição gemelar, entre eles: narcisismo, identidade, indivíduo, sujeito, diferenciação, indiferenciação, separação, transferência, contratransferência. Para além dos conceitos e especificidades destacados, depuramos dois eixos de leitura e posicionamento dos autores quanto as questões gemelares: o primeiro deles toma por base o desafio dos gêmeos quanto à aquisição de uma identidade individual e considera que eles tem uma dificuldade a mais para se diferenciarem e alcançarem uma identidade única, fugindo de um narcisismo mortífero ao qual a condição gemelar predisporia. O segundo eixo, que contrasta com o anterior, frisa a importância de os clínicos estarem atentos ao que é próprio das vivências dos gêmeos e não tratá-los pela ótica dos filhos únicos, dando especial atenção às vivências do par e suas marcas na constituição da subjetividade. A partir de nossa experiência clínica, valorizamos as considerações dos autores que localizamos nesse seguindo eixo, e aprofundamos nossas investigações sobre a relação entre o individual, o singular e o par. Para tal discussão, tomamos por base a noção de experiência gemelar, para pensar em seus efeitos nas dimensões do imaginário, do simbólico e do real. No tocante ao imaginário, exploramos as experiências de indiferenciação entre eu e outro, relacionadas a temática do duplo. No simbólico, destacamos as dificuldades do reconhecimento no laço social de experiências cujo denominador não é o indivíduo. Quanto à dimensão real, discutimos as marcas da dupla na constituição subjetiva, tendo por base o conceito de objeto a. Concluímos que é possível tomar a gemelaridade como um dado clínico relevante, e que isto pode contribuir para a escuta e direção do tratamento, a partir dos seus efeitos singulares em cada experiência. Espera-se que os leitores e clínicos possam se valer das considerações aqui propostas, em especial, nos casos marcados pelos efeitos da experiência gemelar

This research comes as a sequence of the Scientific Initiation work entitled "Psychoanalytical literature on twins: specificities of the clinic". The work is part of the 'Clinical Branch' of the study with twins - coordinated by Professor Maria Lívia Tourinho Moretto - which is part of the research network USP Panel of Twins, - coordinated by Professor Emma Otta - at the Institute of Psychology at the University of São Paulo. The group of researchers of the 'Clinical Branch' has been providing care to twin patients at the School Clinic of the Psychology Institute since 2017, and since 2020, it has been working in partnership with researchers from the Sedes Sapientiae Institute, in the Gemelar group. The aim of this research is to investigate the demands, issues and narratives of suffering brought by twin patients and their families, both in the treatments performed and in the literature on the subject, in order to obtain subsidies for a clinical and critical reflection on the teachings and challenges related to twins in the psychoanalytic field. We used the psychoanalytic clinical method, enhancing the articulation between clinic and theory in this investigation. As a result, we built a panorama with the main texts found in the literature, categorized from the focus of clinicians, parents of twins and twins who published about their experiences. In this panorama, the authors use and privilege diverse concepts to deal with the specificities of the twin condition, among them: narcissism, identity, individual, subject, differentiation, undifferentiation, separation, transference, countertransference. In addition to the concepts and specificities highlighted, we depurated two axes of reading and positioning of the authors as to twin issues: the first of them is based on the challenge of twins as to the acquisition of an individual identity and considers that they have an extra difficulty to differentiate themselves and achieve a unique identity, escaping from a deadly narcissism to which the twin condition would predispose them. The second axis, which contrasts with the previous one, stresses the importance of clinicians being attentive to what is proper of the twins' experiences and not treating them from the point of view of single children, giving special attention to the pair's experiences and their marks in the constitution of subjectivity. Based on our clinical experience, we value the considerations of the authors that we locate in the second axis, and we deepen our investigations about the relationship between the individual, the singular and the pair. For this discussion, we took the notion of twin experience as a basis, to think about its effects in the dimensions of the imaginary, the symbolic, and the real. Regarding the imaginary, we explore the experiences of indifferentiation between the self and the other, related to the theme of the double. In the symbolic dimension, we highlight the difficulties of recognition in the social bond of experiences whose denominator is not the individual. As for the real dimension, we discuss the marks of the duos in the subjective constitution, based on the concept of object a. We conclude that it is possible to take twinning as a relevant clinical fact, and that this can contribute to the listening and direction of treatment, from its unique effects in each experience. It is hoped that readers and clinicians can make use of the considerations proposed here, especially in cases marked by the effects of the twin experience
