Este estudo discute as possibilidades e os limites do trabalho do psicanalista na Política de Assistência Social. Tem como ponto de partida os impasses vivenciados pelo pesquisador neste cenário e a identificação de que as pesquisas acadêmicas sobre o assunto são escassas e introdutórias. O objetivo geral é investigar como se dá o trabalho do psicanalista na Política de Assistência Social com os usuários e na interlocução com a equipe. Os objetivos específicos são: discutir a construção do trabalho do psicanalista no campo da política socioassistencial; propor uma formalização teórico-prática para este trabalho a partir da experiência do pesquisador num Núcleo de Convivência de Idosos (NCI), como psicólogo, num grupo de trabalho sobre o desacolhimento institucional por maioridade, como pesquisador-participante, e num Serviço de Assistência Educativa em Meio Aberto (AEMO) de Paris, como estagiário; promover a reflexão sobre os discursos e as práticas que marcam o acompanhamento dos usuários e a prática dos profissionais; e discutir como o trabalho do psicanalista pode contribuir nestes acompanhamentos em uma perspectiva que considere a singularidade do sujeito e sua relação com a instituição e com a sociedade. Toma-se como pressuposto a noção de psicanálise implicada, compreendendo que o psicanalista mantém uma relação de implicação ao seu campo de investigação e ao seu objeto de estudo - tanto em sua atuação quanto na pesquisa acadêmica. O método de investigação está estruturado em descrições, análises e discussões da experiência do pesquisador no cenário socioassistencial, produzindo formalizações teórico-práticas. Utilizou-se de vinhetas clínico-institucionais, nas quais se ilustra e se reflete sobre o trabalho do psicanalista em três contextos, como citados acima: NCI, grupo de trabalho e serviço AEMO. Como resultado, identificou-se que o trabalho do psicanalista pode ser realizado a partir de dois elementos principais: a escuta do sujeito e a problematização de discursos e práticas institucionais e sociopolíticos. Considerando tais elementos, o trabalho do psicanalista pode possibilitar o deslocamento do sujeito em discursos segregatórios; favorecer a diminuição do isolamento social e permitir a inserção do sujeito no serviço a partir de sua singularidade; sustentar a construção do caso clínico e a elaboração de um acompanhamento singularizado do sujeito em interlocução com a equipe; entre outras possibilidades. Por fim, conclui-se que o trabalho do psicanalista não está dado a priori, não se caracteriza pela pura aplicação dos conceitos e das técnicas da psicanálise, mas é fruto de uma construção que se efetiva no cotidiano institucional, na escuta dos usuários e também na interlocução com a equipe, sendo os impasses que suscitam a invenção de um modo de trabalho possível

This study discusses the possibilities and the limits of the psychoanalyst's work in the Social Assistance Policy. It has as a starting point the impasses experienced by the researcher in this scenario and the finding that academic research on this subject is scarce and introductory. The main aim is to investigate how the work of the psychoanalyst in the Social Assistance Policy is built with the users and in the dialogue with the team. The specific goals are: to discuss the construction of the psychoanalyst's work in the field of socio-welfare policy; to propose a theoretical-practical formalization for this work from the researcher's experience in a Center of Coexistence for the Elderly (Núcleo de Convivência de Idosos - NCI), as a psychologist, in a working group on institutional disenrollment by adulthood, as a researcher-participant, and in the Open Educational Assistance Service (Serviço de Assistência Educativa em Meio Aberto - AEMO) in Paris, as a trainee; to promote reflection on the speeches and practices that mark the follow-up of users and the practice of professionals; and to discuss how the work of the psychoanalyst can contribute to these follow-ups in a perspective that considers the singularity of the subject and its relationship with the institution and with society. The notion of implied psychoanalysis is taken as a presupposition, understanding that the psychoanalyst maintains a relation of implication to his field of investigation and his object of study - both in his work and in academic research. The research method is structured in descriptions, analyses and discussions of the researcher's experience in the social assistance scenario, producing theoretical and practical formalizations. This is demonstrated by the clinical-institutional vignettes, in which the work of the psychoanalyst is illustrated and reflected in three contexts, as mentioned above: NCI, workgroup and service AEMO. As an outcome, it was identified that the construction of the work of the psychoanalyst can be performed from two main elements: the listening of the subject and the problematization of institutional and socio-political discourses and practices. Considering these elements, the work of the psychoanalyst can enable the displacement of the subject in segregatory discourses; benefit the reduction of social isolation and allow the insertion of the subject to work because of their singularity; support the construction of the clinical case and the elaboration of a singularized follow-up of the subject in interlocution with the team; among others. As a conclusion, it is evaluated that the work of the psychoanalyst can contribute to the follow-ups carried out in the services of the Social Assistance Policy, considering the relationship with the users, the interaction with the team and the institutional and sociopolitical discourses that permeate this field
