Abstract in English
This work was carried out with the methodology of historical-theoretical research, taking psychoanalysis as an object of study from a central concept to clinical work, which is countertransference, circumscribed within a period, with the aim of investigating different theoretical perspectives on it. We resorted to the reading of Lacan's texts on the phenomenon of countertransference indicated in the Jacques Lacan Séminaire 1952-1980 - Index Référentiel by Professor Henry Krutzen (2009) between 1953 and 1961 and to the reading of Freud's texts and the Anglo-Saxon authors cited by him , on which this important author of psychoanalysis developed his elaborations on this topic, as well as his commentators. We also visited works on the history of psychoanalysis after realizing that the different groups of psychoanalysts resulting from the institutionalization of the field produced different theoretical and practical understandings, fostering debates and deepening differences. Thus, it was intended to advance in the understanding of the place that this polyphonic concept occupies in the contemporary practice of the psychoanalytic clinic.
