Investiga-se, neste trabalho, o olhar infantil em face da televisão, com o objetivo de mapear suas representações. A pesquisa tem dois momentos de análise, em que se observa, no primeiro momento, o lugar da televisão no cotidiano infantil, tendo por fonte um questionário respondido por alunos e alunas das terceiras e quartas séries de um colégio público e, no segundo, as representações que nove dos sujeitos fazem de uma seleção de programas exibidos em sessões individuais de entrevista. O estudo tem como bases teóricas a matriz microgética, que conjuga as contribuições de Bakhtin e a proposta discursiva-indiciária, e estudos sociológicos sobre a relação entre a sociedade e os meios de comunicação. As representações infantis foram mapeadas em falas das crianças, a partir das ações de reconhecimento/desconhecimento, aceitação/rejeição dos programas exibidos, compreendendo-se os processos de mediação e a relação estética entre os sujeitos e os produtos televisivos. Assim, os indícios presentes nas falas permitiram a análise da emergência de olhares atentos/dispersos, críticos e passivos, e suas condições de produção, em especial o acesso aos bens culturais.

It is investigated, in this work, the child-like look in face of television, with the objective of mapping their representations. The research has two moments of analysis, in that it is observed, in the first moment, the place of television in childrens daily life, having as research source a questionnaire answered by students from third and fourth grades of a public school and, in the second moment, the representations that nine of the subjects do of a selection of programs exhibited in individual interview sessions. The study has as theoretical bases the microgenetic perspective , which conjugates Bakhtins contributions and the discursive- indiciary paradigm, and sociological studies on the relationship between society and the means of communication. The child-like representations were mapped in the children's speeches, starting from the actions of recognition/ignorance, acceptance/rejection of the exhibited programs, being understood the mediation processes and the aesthetic relationship between the subjects and the television products. Thus, the indications present in the speeches allowed the analysis of emerging look such as attentive/diffuse, critical and passive, and their production conditions, especially the access to cultural goods.
