A pesquisa de doutorado realizada na cidade de São Paulo/Brasil trata de analisar algumas das políticas públicas para a primeira infância, em especial aquelas que normatizam e orientam os currículos escolares para os bebês e crianças bem pequenas, como forma de compreender de que maneira balizam os espaços escolares para as questões que envolvem o gênero. Ocupa-se ainda de olhar as relações que estabelecem os bebês meninos e meninas entre si e com os adultos, mais especificamente aquelas que são construídas cotidianamente nos espaços coletivos da creche, um dos lugares onde podemos encontrá-los nas cidades usufruindo de seu justo direito à convivência com os outros, com o diferente. Para problematizarmos essas questões julgo importante recorrer fortemente àquelas relacionadas às políticas públicas para a pequena infância. Essa opção aproxima o estudo dos bebês na creche ao estudo das políticas que ora mais, ora menos, incidem sobre seus direitos e relações estabelecidas entre seus pares adultos e outras crianças nesses espaços públicos de educação e cuidado. As questões apontadas são problematizadas entre outros pelos referenciais da Sociologia, da Pedagogia e da História, considerando ainda, aqueles apontados pela Sociologia da Infância que na constituição do campo coloca a infância e as crianças no centro da reflexão (SARMENTO 2008; CORSARO, 2011; QVORTRUP, 1995; JENKS, 1996; HONIG, 2009).

The doctoral research carried out in the city of São Paulo / Brazil aims to analyze some of the public policies for early childhood, especially those that regulate and guide school curricula for very small infants and toddlers, in order to understand how their school spaces for issues involving gender. We also look at the relationships established between boys and girls themselves and with adults, more specifically those that are made daily in the collective spaces of day care, one of the places where we can find them in the cities enjoying their right to the coexistence with others, with the different. In order to problematize these issues, in my opinion it is important to resort strongly to those related to public policies for children. This option approximates the study of babies and toddlers in the day care center to the study of policies that, at least sometimes, influence their rights and relations established between their adult peers and other children in these public spaces of education and care. Problematized issues among others by the references of Sociology, Pedagogy and History, considering also those pointed out by the Sociology of Childhood that in the constitution of the field puts childhood and children in the center of reflection (SARMENTO 2008; CORSARO, 2011; (1995).
