Nesta dissertação, dado ao fato do Brasil apresentar elevada prevalencia de arboviroses, especialmente Dengue (DENV), Zika (ZKV) e Chikungunya (CHKV) e possuirem a forma vetorial como sua principal transmissao, porém, podem ser transmitidas tambem associada a transfusao de produtos sanguineos, avaliou-se a transmissão destes agentes infecciosos por meio de transfusão sanguínea. Sabemos que a populacao de transplantados de celulas tronco-hematopoeticas (TCTH) esta frequentemente exposta a estes agentes infecciosos, seja pela necessidade frequente de transfusão de hemocomponentes, seja pela presenca vetorial endemica em nosso pais. Os resultados incluíram 93 pacientes durante o período realizado. A idade média foi de 52 anos e houve predominancia de individuos do sexo masculino (56,9%). Foram considerados 5 (5,3%) casos positivos por meio da sorologia na nossa amostra populacional. Todos estes decorreram de soroconversao. Nenhum caso apresentou RT-PCR positivo. Todos os hemocomponentes investigados apresentaram RT-PCR de arboviroses negativos, evidenciando baixa prevalência de transmissão transfusional destes agentes na nossa população estudada

In this dissertation, given the fact that Brazil has a high prevalence of arboviruses, especially Dengue (DENV), Zika (ZKV) and Chikungunya (CHKV) and have the vector form as their main transmission, however, they can also be transmitted associated with the transfusion of blood products, the transmission of these infectious agents through blood transfusion was evaluated. We know that the hematopoietic stem cell (HSCT) transplant population is frequently exposed to these infectious agents, either because of the frequent need for blood components transfusion or because of the endemic vector presence in our country. The results included 93 patients during the period performed. The mean age was 52 years and there was a predominance of males (56.9%). Five (5.3%) cases were considered positive by serology in our population sample. All of these resulted from seroconversion. No case was RT-PCR positive. All investigated blood components showed negative RT-PCR of arboviruses, showing a low prevalence of transfusional transmission of these agents in our studied population
