Abstract in English
In order to characterize the auditory evoked potentials of children with phonological disorder and to verify these potentials results improvement after speech therapy, 24 children without phonological disorder and 23 children with phonological disorder were evaluated through brainstem auditory evoked potential, middle latency response and cognitive potential. The results showed that children with phonological disorder present a statistically significant difference in the brainstem auditory evoked potential and in the cognitive potential before the speech therapy, with an improvement of those potential after speech therapy
