Abstract in English
We have investigated the effect of surface roughness on the binding energies of an electron bound to an ionized impurity center localized near the interface both in the silicon and in the silicon-dioxide of a MOS - Si [001] system. We have also discussed the roughness effects on the electric-subband energy separation in n-type Si inversion layer. The calculation reported here shows that those effects are significant and are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data. In the case of electrons on liquid helium surface, we have calculated the effective mass and the formation energy of a surface anion (electron-ripplon interaction). We have used the Feyman variational method, and the results we have got gives the range of validity of other approximations
