Abstract in English
A new interpretation to recent experimental results on two dimensional plasmons in laterally microstructured space charge layers is proposed. A classical equation for the plasma oscillation in R.P.A. and a variation method for this equation are proposed. Localized plasmons in these systems were studied. In particular it is shown that there is a critical value of the modulation for the appearance of localized plasmons. The Landau damping for these modes was also calculated. The theoretical results agree with the existing experimental data
