Este trabalho apresenta um estudo sobre a existência, unicidade e comportamento assintótico de soluções para uma lei de conservação escalar da forma ut+ f (u)x = O. Esta solução satisfaz a desigualdade de entropia, e além disso é a única solução com esta propriedade. O problema é estudado via o método das diferenças finitas.

In this work we studied the existence, uniqueness and asymptotic behavior of solutions for a single conservation law in the form ut + f (u)x = 0. This solution satisfies the entropy inequality, and furthermore is the unique solution with this propriety. The problem was studied using the finite-difference method.
