Abstract in English
The present work had an objective of studying morphologycaly and morfometricaly the palatal and the surface of foot epitelial tissues of fetal rats, whose mothers were exposed to radiofrequency radiation of 20 MHz frequency and magnetic field gradients. Females were irradiated 10 minutes dayly, from the 1st to 20th day of pregnancy. The eletromagnetic power applied to pregnant rats was of 7,4 mW and SAR (Especific Absorption Rate) 30 mW/kg, whose values are in literature considered as being low intensity radiation. Statistical comparitions of results form irradiated and control groups shows that basal extract form palatal and surface of foot epitelial tissues, appears with a reduction of thickness and volume density on the irradiated group. A possible interpretation of these biological efects, may be due to a morphological change from those extracts cells, or a change in orientation, as a consequence of eletromagnetical fields interaction.
