Este estudo aborda a Educação Moral e Cívica no contexto da Ditadura Civil Militar no Brasil (1964-1985), investigando a relação entre os livros didáticos utilizados na disciplina, sua distribuição e a implementação da política curricular. O objetivo central é compreender como esses materiais foram disseminados e como contribuíram para a difusão da ideologia autoritária. A pesquisa baseou-se em uma abordagem histórica e documental, com levantamento bibliográfico e análise de fontes primárias relacionadas à legislação educacional da época, políticas curriculares, distribuição de livros didáticos e conteúdo dos manuais. Através de uma investigação detalhada, foi possível evidenciar a importância da Comissão do Livro Técnico e do Livro Didático (COLTED) e da Fundação Nacional do Material Escolar (FENAME) na distribuição dos materiais educacionais. Os livros didáticos analisados revelaram conteúdos ideologicamente alinhados ao regime autoritário, visando moldar a formação dos estudantes de acordo com os valores do governo. Conclui-se que a distribuição desses manuais foi um mecanismo chave para a penetração da ideologia do regime nas salas de aula e na educação dos jovens. As limitações deste estudo incluem a falta de dados precisos sobre o impacto real desses materiais na formação dos estudantes. No entanto, esta pesquisa contribui para uma compreensão mais abrangente das políticas de distribuição de livros didáticos e sua relação com a implementação da Educação Moral e Cívica durante a Ditadura Civil Militar.

This study addresses Moral and Civic Education in the context of the Civil-Military Dictatorship in Brazil (1964-1985), investigating the relationship between the textbooks used in the discipline, their distribution, and the implementation of the curriculum policy. The central objective is to understand how these materials were disseminated and how they contributed to the diffusion of authoritarian ideology. The research was based on a historical and documentary approach, with bibliographic survey and analysis of primary sources related to educational legislation of the time, curriculum policies, distribution of textbooks, and content of manuals. Through detailed investigation, it was possible to highlight the importance of the Textbook Commission (COLTED) and the National Foundation for School Material (FENAME) in the distribution of educational materials. The analyzed textbooks revealed content ideologically aligned with the authoritarian regime, aiming to shape students' education according to government values. It is concluded that the distribution of these manuals was a key mechanism for the penetration of the regime's ideology into classrooms and the education of young people. Limitations of this study include the lack of precise data on the actual impact of these materials on students' education. However, this research contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of textbook distribution policies and their relationship with the implementation of Moral and Civic Education during the Civil-Military Dictatorship.
