Abstract in English
The official documents that regulate education in Brazil, as well as academic research related to science teaching guide important changes in methodologies and pedagogical proposals for chemistry teaching. In order to contemplate the current human, economic, social and environmental needs, the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC) recommends that the teaching of Chemistry should promote the enhancement of reflection, protagonism, understanding and application of scientific-technological knowledge, the ability to read and investigate phenomena, the commitment to collectivity and sustainability, gathering and consolidating values for the integral formation of citizens. Inspired by the educator Paulo Freire, an inquiry about the habits and previous knowledge of Chemistry of a specific group of students was performed , in order to propose a personalized methodology capable of promoting the protagonism and autonomy of the referred students. Based on qualitative data analysis an educational product was elaborated in the form of an instruction guide, presenting short teaching proposals, called Guide to Situated Learning Episodes (EAS) in Chemistry Teaching .The focused topics aim to merge the contents presented with the needs of students who are identified in the research, that is, students from full-time courses, with reduced time for studies and easy access to digital study materials. The choice of EAS is justified by the compatibility of the assumptions that underlie this methodology (integration of mobile devices in didactics, through brief activities with previous instructions and later reflections) and the characteristics of the target audience.
