Este estudo tem como objetivo discorrer sobre o caminhar interior do homem ao longo de sua história e seu reflexo no ensino e na arte da cura como o conceito primordial de cuidar. Trata-se de uma Revisão Narrativa nas bases de dados Google Scolar, Pubmed, Scielo, Rsarchive.org e em Livros textos sobre os assuntos. Na busca foram ainda incluídas literaturas cinzentas, indicadas pelas referências dos textos originalmente consultados. Foram utilizadas as palavras chaves antroposofia, cuidados paliativos e história da medicina, combinadas entre si pelos termos boleanos AND E NOT. O período de busca dos estudos se deu de 2018 à 2020. Os resultados foram organizados por meio de Análise de Contexto, com base no referencial do desenvolvimento da humanidade, da arte da cura e de seu ensino sob o olhar da Antroposofia nos diferentes períodos da história. Na análise de contexto foram utilizados quatro níveis interativos: metacontexto, contexto geral, contexto específico e contexto imediato, originando quatro subtemas: 1) Desenvolvimento da humanidade, da arte da cura e de seu ensino sob o olhar da Antroposofia; 2) O pensar, o sentir e o atuar humano nos cuidados paliativos; 3) Cuidados paliativos: conceitos e aplicabilidade sob o olhar antroposófico; 4) Habilidades humanas a serem desenvolvidos na formação do profissional de saúde. Os resultados encontrados demonstraram que ao longo da história da humanidade Pré-história, Antiga Índia, Antigo Egito e Babilônia, Civilização Hebraica, Grécia Antiga, Alexandria, Roma, Idade Média (ocidente e mundo árabe), Idade Moderna e contemporânea, foi possível observar características que marcaram o pensar, o sentir e o atuar humano que impactaram e que impactam as atitudes humanas, o cuidar, o cuidar paliativo e a formação dos profissionais de saúde. Assim o autor propõe, sob o olhar antroposófico, práticas fomentadoras a serem utilizadas na formação de um profissional da saúde mais humano, principalmente quando se trata da atuação em cuidados paliativos.

This study aims to discuss the inner journey of man throughout his history and its reflection in teaching and the art of healing as the primary concept of care. This is a Narrative Review in Google Scolar, Pubmed, Scielo, Rsarchive.org databases and in textbooks on the subjects. The search also included gray literature, indicated by references to the texts originally consulted. The keywords anthroposophy, palliative care and history of medicine were used, combined with the Boolean terms AND AND NOT. The search period for the studies took place from 2018 to 2020. The results were organized through Context Analysis, based on the framework of the development of humanity, the art of healing and its teaching from the perspective of Anthroposophy in the different periods of story. In the context analysis, four interactive levels were used: meta-context, general context, specific context and immediate context, giving rise to four sub-themes: 1) Development of humanity, the art of healing and its teaching from the perspective of Anthroposophy; 2) Human thinking, feeling and acting in palliative care; 3) Palliative care: concepts and applicability from an anthroposophical perspective; 4) Human skills to be developed in the training of health professionals. The results found showed that throughout the history of mankind Prehistory, Ancient India, Ancient Egypt and Babylon, Hebrew Civilization, Ancient Greece, Alexandria, Rome, Middle Ages (West and Arab world), Modern and Contemporary Age, it was possible to observe characteristics that marked human thinking, feeling and acting that impacted and impact human attitudes, care, palliative care and the training of health professionals. Thus, the author proposes, from an anthroposophical perspective, fostering practices to be used in the training of a more human health professional, especially when it comes to acting in palliative care.
