Keywords in Portuguese
Currículo
Educação em enfermagem
Educação superior
Humanização da assistência

Humanization of assistance
Abstract in English
The term humanization has been recurrent in the health area and, generally, it is related to the qualification of relation between health professional and subject who searches the health service. In this study, the term humanization was conceived as the encounter among subjects in and for the care act, in other words, the encounter of subjectivities. Knowing this and having as presupposition that the content of the graduation curricula in nursing exert meaningful influence in the future exercises of these professionals, the aim of this research was to investigate the teaching of humanization in the school subjects which compose the graduation curricula in nursing of São Paulo city. Thirteen IES (Institution of Higher Education) have participated: one federal, one pertaining to the state and 11 private, totalizing 588 school subjects. These were classificated in basic science (of human area or not) and applied science (to nursing or not). Afterward, the school subjects of basic science of human area and of applied science to the nursing that showed, at least, one term related to humanization were selected. Subsequently, compatibility between the utilization of this term by the school subjects and the humanization concept of this study was verified. These data were presented and investigated considering as absolute and relative frequencies. Of 588 investigated school subject program, 349 (59%) has showed some term related to the humanization, disclosing a intention by IES to teach humanization. However, in the moment to verify the consistency of such contents, it was observed that only one of the 13 IES (IES L) could provide the teaching of this theme by offering two school subjects, apparently articulated. This IES has presented the school subject Philosophy of basic science of human area, which defined the dimensions which compose the definition of humanization and the school subject of Philosophic Anthropology, of applied science to the nursing, which would apply these definitions in a specific care reality. However, the fact of this last school subject has mentioned the encounter among subjects occurring among social papers suggests, or a supremacy of social papers about the inter subjectivity, or the inter subjectivity in spite of social papers
