O objetivo da tese é analisar, nas Investigações lógicas de Husserl, a teoria fenomenológica do conhecimento. Pretende-se, com isso, explicitar como Husserl converte fenomenologicamente o problema tradicional do conhecimento, que é usualmente tratado como o enigma da conexão entre a imanência da mente e a transcendência do mundo. Husserl mostra que tal posicionamento da questão ainda guarda elementos metafísicos. O trabalho da fenomenologia será o de suspender a validade dos pressupostos metafísicos da imanência da mente e da transcendência do mundo e se voltar para os elementos estruturantes das vivências intencionais. Com isso, os conceitos de doação e transcendência poderão ser clarificados e a pergunta da teoria do conhecimento poderá ser reposta, embora agora em registro fenomenológico. A pergunta deixa de ser sobre o enigma do acesso à transcendência e passa a ser sobre o modo de doação da transcendência: ou seja, não se trata mais de questionar se é possível a abertura ao mundo, mas de explicitar como se dá essa abertura. Para a consecução desse objetivo, utilizamos como fio condutor o problema contemporâneo do Mito do Dado, que atua como modelo do problema da teoria do conhecimento em sua versão não fenomenológica. Pretendemos mostrar que tal conversão do problema do conhecimento blinda a fenomenologia de Husserl das acusações de ser uma filosofia doacionista no sentido apresentado por Sellars e McDowell. No desenrolar da tese, defrontamo-nos com uma série de investigações históricas e analíticas, tais como o problema de Lotze acerca da significação real das categorias lógicas, as origens do problema da doação na filosofia contemporânea de Lewis a Sellars, o conceitualismo de McDowell, bem como a estrutura da doação sensível e categorial em Husserl. Por fim, avançamos algumas teses interpretativas sobre a fenomenologia pré-transcendental, quais sejam: sua vinculação essencial entre teoria do conhecimento e metafísica, a ausência de um representacionalismo na sua teoria da sensibilidade e a ausência de psicologismo na sua teoria do entendimento

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the phenomenological theory of knowledge in Husserls Logical Investigations. The aim is to explain how Husserl phenomenologically converts the traditional problem of knowledge, which is usually addressed as the enigma of the connection between the immanence of the mind and the transcendence of the world. Husserl reveals that this positioning of the question is metaphysically loaded. The task of phenomenology is to suspend the validity of the metaphysical presuppositions of the immanence of the mind and the transcendence of the world and move back to the structuring elements of intentional lived experiences. By doing so, the concepts of giving and transcendence can be clarified and the question of the theory of knowledge can be restated, now in a phenomenological register. The question is no longer about the enigma of access to transcendence, but about the way in which transcendence is given: in other words, it is no longer a question of asking whether the openness to the world is possible, but of explaining how this openness of the world is accomplished. To reach this goal, we use as a guiding thread the contemporary problem of the Myth of the Given, which provides a model for the problem of the theory of knowledge in its nonphenomenological version. In the course of the thesis, we are confronted with a series of historical and analytical investigations, such as Lotzes problem about the real meaning of logical categories, the origins of the problem of givenness in contemporary philosophy from Lewis to Sellars, McDowells conceptualism, and the structure of sensible and categorial givenness in Husserl. Finally, we put forward some interpretative theses about pretranscendental phenomenology, namely: its essential link between the theory of knowledge and metaphysics, the absence of representationalism in its theory of sensibility, and the absence of psychologism in its theory of understanding
