Abstract in English
This study was conducted at Fazenda Morros Verdes, municipal district of Ibiúna, state of São Paulo, region of APA Itupararanga. Aimed to evaluate the results and discuss them with a focus on water production. The methodological procedures employed involved a comparative analysis based on parameters related to climate and soil attributes in three forms of land use applicants in the area: a Native Forest, an Agroforestry System (SAF) and a Pasture. In order to monitor the ground water behavior in the plots was calculated Water Balance biweekly during the study period and was characterized the local pedological cover by topossequences and obtain samples to make the determination of their physical parameters and monitor the moisture levels in the soil under the climatic conditions of the period. The results point to the fact that four years since the implementation of the SAF, the soil structure expressed by the density and porosity remains equivalent to checked in pasture. This is due to the low planting density, low diversity of species and especially the limited potential edaphic soil: acid, shallow and incipient structure. The study also allowed to grasp the complexity of the interactions between soil, plant and atmosphere. Integrated studies of atmospheric climate, the soil climate and morphology can provide important insights for the understanding of mechanisms and tools for decision making in respect to forms of management.
