This work aims at analyzing and interpreting Luigi Pirandello's play I giganti della montagna, discussing the problem of the subject's fragmentation and rupture, regarding these as forms of the play's thematic and structural duplication. In addition, the work attempts to illustrate the existing connections between narrative and drama, taking into account the author's conception of myth.
