Este trabalho refere-se à formação do professor de Ciência; propõe que este processo se constitua na passagem de uma visão comum sobre conteúdo científico, ensino, aprendizagem e educação para uma conceituação científica desses mesmos fatores, baseada em resultados das pesquisas nessas áreas. Após uma discussão detalhada sobre Ciência e desenvolvimento científico, concepções espontâneas e projetos de ensino, contribuições metodológicas e enfoques ideológicos, é discutido o esboço de um currículo moderno de Licenciatura em Ciências, capaz de integrar conteúdo científico e problemática educacional.

This work deals with the training of Science teachers. It is proposed that this process should consist in promoting the change from a common vision about scientific content, teaching, learning and education to a scientific conceptualization of the same themes, based on the results of researches in these areas. After a detailed discussion about Science and scientific development, spontaneous reasoning and projects on teaching, methodological contributions and ideological approaches, it is presented and discussed an out-line of a modern curriculum for the training of Science teachers, able to integrate scientific contents and educational problems.
