Abstract in English
The present research deals with a method of selection of varieties of soybean resistant to Colletotrichum dematium f. truncata. A study of the influence of some factors in obtaining inoculum was studied first with the conclusion that the best medium was oat-agar with a filter paper on top, pH of 4,5 and under conditions of continuos-ligth. The concentration of inoculum was calibrated at 1,5 x 106 conidia per ml. Ninety-three varieties of soybean were inoculated in the greenhouse and later classified in decreasing order of resistance. Five varieties were tested at 4 concentrations of the inoculum (7,5 x 105; 1,5 x 106; 3,0 x 106 and 6,0 x 106 conidia per ml). It had been observed that the increase of the inoculum concentrations resulted in increase in disease incidence, in the diseased seedlings and/or underdevelopment of the plants.
