DELINEAMENTO EXPERIMENTAL

Analysis of groups of experiments in split-plots with some common treatments in the plots
Abstract in English
This research deals with a group of experiments with split-plots, in randomized blocks, where the treatments of the plots are distinct one from another, but with only some of the treatments present in all the experiments (common treatments). The purpose of this study was to present a general method of analysis for this type of experiment. Therefore the following model was adopted: (see theses) with: (see theses) The existence of constant correlation, p, between two subplots from same plot and the independence among subplots of distinct plots was considered, thus resulting: (see theses) The following aspects were determined under such conditions: the system of normal equations, the estimation of the effect of the parameters, the sum of squares of the parameters, as well as the justification of the F test. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the proposed method.
