O objetivo desta pesquisa histórica é abordar as discussões sobre as tecnologia e seus reflexos na produção de conjuntos Habitacionais de Interesse Social ocorridas, principalmente, no período de atuação do Banco Nacional da Habitação -BNH(1964-1986) no Estado de São Paulo. Neste trabalho procurou-se investigar, dentro dos contextos históricos, as circunstâncias nas quais surgiram os conjuntos habitacionais e as questões tecnológicas envolvidas na produção em massa de habitações. Com estes subsídios foi possível analisar os Conjuntos Habitacionais, segundo os indutores tecnológicos identificados, utilizando-se os conceitos de Projeto do Produto e Projeto da Produção. Portanto, o tema História da Tecnologia para Conjuntos Habitacionais proposto de forma introdutória neste trabalho, em função da abrangência da área, está inserido dentro do contexto Habitacional Brasileiro através das Políticas Sociais, Econômicas e Tecnológicas definidas na fase de planejamento e construção dos conjuntos, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento do Setor da Construção Civil

The objective of this historie research is to approach the discussions about the technologies and their reflexes in the production of Social Housing Schemes which took place, mainly, during the period when BNH - Banco Nacional da Habitação was aclive (1964-1986) in Sao Paulo State. In this sense, the circumstances in which the Social Housing Schemes were created and the technological issues involved in lhe mass production of housing were investigated in the historie contexts. Based on this information it was possible to analyze the Social Housing Schemes according to the identified technological conditions, using the concepts of Product Design and Production Design. Therefore, the topic "History of the Technology for Social Housing Schemes which was proposed in this work, due to its comprehensiveness is included in the Brazilian Dwelling Context through Social, Economic and Technological policies which were defined in the planning and construction phases, contributing to the improvement of Civil Construction Sector
