Um estudo da influência da força axial estática sobre as frequências naturais e os modos naturais de vibração de barras de secção delgada e apresentado. Obtém-se, inicialmente, um conjunto de equações diferenciais usando o metodo da energia. São incluidos, além dos momentos e bimomentos estáticos aplicados nas extremidades da barra, a inércia de rotação e a inércia setorial. O método dos elementos finitos e aplicado para análise de vibrações livres. As matrizes de massa, de rigidez e de rigidez geométrica são considerando campo de deslocamento cúbico. Através de alguns exemplos, bimomento pode afetar significativamente os valores da frequências e dos modos naturais.

Abstract in English
A study of the influence of the statical axial force on the natural frequencies and natural modes of vibration of thin-walled bars is presented . One obtains initially a set of differential equations by making use of the energy method. In addition to the statical moments and bimoments applied at the bar's ends , both the rotary and the warping inertias are taken into account. The finite element method is employed for t he analysis of free vibrations. The mass, stiffness, and geometric stiffness matrices are determined in the case of a cubic displacement field. By means of some examples, one bimoment may affect, in a significant way , natural frequencies and modes.
