O presente estudo abrangeu a investigação da influência da flotação seguida de ozonização na remoção na remoção de matéria orgânica específica (proteína, carboidrato e lipídios), como pós - tratamento de um Reator Anaeróbio de Leito Expandido tratando esgoto municipal. Foram realizados ensaios estáticos de flotação, seguido de diferentes dosagens de ozônio para diferentes tempos de contato. Os melhores resultados foram obtidos para os maiores tempos de contato e maior dosagem aplicada, durante a ozonização, com remoções de 68%, 90% e 95% na remoção de proteínas, carboidratos e lipídios, respectivamente. Constatou-se uma quebra do material durante a ozonização, aumentando, teoricamente, a biodegradabilidade do efluente. Acompanhou-se as variações de DQO total e DQO filtrada, série de sólidos, pH, alcalinidade e temperatura

The present study embraced the ínvestigation of the ínfluence of the flotatíon followed by ozonatíon in the remova! of specífíc organíc matter (proteín, carbohydrate and lípids), as powders treatment of a Anaerobic reactors of Expanded Bed treating domestic sewer. Static test of flotatíon were accomplíshed, followed by dífferent dose of ozone for dífferent times of contact. The best results were obtaíned for the largest times of contact and larger applíed dose, duríng the ozonation, wíth removais of 68 %, 90 % and 95% ín the remova! of proteíns, carbohydrate and lípíds respectívely. lt was verified, a break of the particle material , through the actíon of the ozone, increasíng, theoretícally, the bíodegradatíon of the municipal sewer . lt was accompaníed total DQO and filtered DQO, seríes of solíds, pH, alkalíníty and temperature.
