Abstract in English
The geometry of hypersurfaces M in R4 can be studied by the viewpoint of contact, using tools from the Singularity Theory. More precisely, studying the singularities of three special functions, the height function that measures contact between M and hyperplanes, the projection in R2 that measures contact between M and planes and the projection in R3 that measures contact between M and lines. Our goal in this work is the study of contact between hypersurfaces in R4 with boundary and hyperplanes and lines. For this, we study the basic theory for these hypersurfaces and the Singularity Theory. To classify the desired contact, we need to understand what types of singularities may arise in the aforementioned functions. Furthermore, through contact we obtain geometric information about hypersurfaces with boundary.
