Keywords in Portuguese
Autoria literária feminina

Patrícia Galvão
Ruth Guimarães

Abstract in English
This research aims at studying the poetry book Meu glorioso pecado, by Gilka Machado (1928), as well as the two novels: Parque industrial (1933), by Patrícia Galvão, and Água funda (1946), by Ruth Guimarães. Containing a diversity of pioneer female voices with different occupation, styles and profiles, they consequently bring a variety of themes: the sensual love in Gilka's poetry work; Patrícia Galvão's political criticism in the proletarian environment; and finally, Ruth Guimarães' country philosophy, marked by cosmologies of original people in coexistence with European ones. The works cited make up the corpus of an analysis of the movement of problematic insertion of women writers in the Brazilian literary system, particularly the Southeast ones, in the first half of the 20th century. The analysis will focus on the search of the uniqueness of each authorial voice, understanding such voices as forms of resistance to various instances of domination and exclusion, including gender, in intersection with class and race. These writers, belonging to historically silenced groups, managed, on the one hand, to write, publish and disseminate their work, but, on the other hand, they did not have full acceptance of their contribution, which is necessary in the multiple composition of our culture. The approach will be taken from the feminist perspective of cultural criticism, which unfolded and matured through the 20th century, reaching a new peak of intensity and reverberation at the present time, around the years 2010/2020. In particular, problematizing the practice of hegemonic groups in supporting categories ans models that construct the false notion of "universal", predisposing themselves against the affirmation of differences
