A pesquisa com intuito de contribuir com a história, mostra ao negacionismo que, mesmo não admitindo e a justiça não reparando todos os violados, 1964, existiu, e a partir dele, muitas pessoas tiveram suas vidas transformadas por perdas e lutos, esse tempo se estendeu até 1985. Nesta pesquisa abordamos a história de Antonio Benetazzo, um ítalo-brasileiro que viveu no Brasil de 1951 a 1972. Benetazzo, era estudante de arquitetura e filosofia, um artista que deixou aproximadamente 200 obras, que se encontram guardadas em casas de amigos e familiares. O artista se empenhou na luta pelo fim da opressão do país. Democracia que usufruímos na atualidade. Analisamos momentos da história e da história da arte, para compreender a trajetória de Antonio Benetazzo, artística e militante. Para isso, utilizamos pesquisas e bibliografias de historiadores e pesquisadores que se debruçam sobre a época. Para avizinhar-se dos movimentos criativos do artista, nos aproximamos dos fundamentos teóricos da fenomenologia da percepção de Maurice Merleau-Ponty, para situar compreensões sobre percepção do olhar, corpo operante e mundo habitado, no processo criativo
